Sweet with a Kiss of Heat Popcorn - Friday Night Snacks
It is friday night, and finally time to sit on the couch and veg for a bit. And get ready for a fun packed weekend. I was craving a sweet treat. Well, honestly, I want to cut into the chocolate peanut butter brownies that are sitting in my fridge, but I need those for company on Sunday. So I needed a plan B.
Well, this popcorn is no second fiddle! It is quick, easy and delicious. And a man pleaser, with the gentle heat that comes with the Chocolate Almond Dukkah. This is a favorite for Richard, he puts the chili chocolate powder on his coffee, and the dukkah in his oatmeal, and now on his popcorn. Seriously a snack star!
2/3-1 c un-popped popcorn
1/2 c peanut butter
1/2 c honey
1 tbsp Chocolate Almond Dukkah
Pop the popcorn. While popping, melt together the honey, peanut butter and dukkah. When it is liquidy and well combined, pour over the popcorn and mix to cover well. And now you are ready to eat!! How awesome is that. 5 minutes and you have amazing gourmet popcorn at home.
This is a big batch, definitely more than can be eaten in one sitting...usually. But it will keep in a sealed container for at least a week, and you will enjoy sneaking a handful every once and awhile!
